South Central MX (SCMX) is a motocross facility located in Edgewood, Texas with weather that allows for year round riding. SCMX currently has four different tracks sprawled out across 150 acres that accommodate all level of riders. Monday- Thursday our tracks are rough prepped and used for training riders who are taking their riding to the national level. Saturday- Sunday the tracks have a smoother prep and open to the public.
SCMX tracks were built and now maintained by Vernon McKiddie (VMac Tracks). Vernon retired from pro motocross and Supercross racing in 2013. Through Vernon's 17 year racing career he learned how to build and maintain dirt bike tracks. Trading off his track building skills he got to stay and train along side some of America's top riders. After he retired from racing Vernon quickly became one of our countries top track builders and the top track builder in South America. Vernon oversees all of our facility employees making sure we only have people in place that have your best interest in mind. And of course he designs and builds all of our tracks.
The Loretta Track was built to replicate the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National MX Championship track located at Loretta Lynn's Ranch. Our Loretta Track will prepare you for whats to come at the biggest amateur national.
The Mini O's SX Track was built to replicate the SX track that you will find at the Mini O's National in Florida. This is also a good track to train for the Junior MotoX.
The Vet Track is full of rolling jumps that are fun for all levels of riders. The layout of this track flows real well and offers a couple of sand sections that are fun to blast through.
The National Track is another track designed with a good flow but this track has bigger more national style jumps, rhythm sections and whoops.
